Tip of the Day June 12, 2013

Eat your fruits and vegetables! Need help getting them in? Here are a few great tips!


  1. If you love pizza, you don't have to give it up. Make it healthier by using a whole grain crust and add vegetables as toppings! 
  2. Make a breakfast smoothie with bananas, yogurt,milk, and strawberries! It's a delicious way to get in some fruit. 
  3. Do you love eggs? Try making an omelette stuff with vegetables. Go ahead and add some cheese to it too. It's a delicious way to get in your vegetables and some calcium. 
As you see, it's easy to get in your fruits and vegetables. They even taste great too!

  1. Yes, true that Helen! It's so easy to just add them to a regular old meal or even sneak them in for veggie-haters...haha. Don't forget adding spinach or kale or smoothies! Mmmm.
