Blue Diamond Almond Whole Natural Review

I'm nuts. I love eating nuts. Peanuts, almonds, cashews, walnuts, chestnuts, pistachios, pecans, macadamia nuts, hazelnuts and soy nuts. I think it actually covers pretty much all the nuts there are, well, except for coconut. I can't eat coconut by itself. I like it when it's eaten with a dessert though, especially a chocolate dessert. ;) But, other than that, I don't care much about coconut Anyway, nuts are delicious and rich in fat and protein. They can be really healthy. Just be careful about coconuts because they're high in saturated fat!
Anyway, if you want a really healthy type of nut treat, make sure that they are raw or at least nothing is added to it when you cook it. Some packaged nuts are high in sodium and have added fat due to the cooking process. I decided to try the blue diamond almonds, whole natural. The only ingredient it says on the package is almonds! It's such a great snack. I bought it on Monday because I was hungry and I wanted a healthy snack to eat that I can buy on campus. There aren't really many healthy options there on school campuses. Anyway, the almonds were delicious. Crunchy and all natural. I personally like it better than it's salted counterpart.
While buying these almonds, I also bought the 50 cent coffee. I love coffee and this coffee tasted awesome and I really needed something warm to sweat out my cold. Yes, I caught a cold during the cold weather the past weekend. It sucks. I hope I get over it soon. I also had to buy this from the campus store:
Well, at least it tasted good.

That day on Monday, I also had to give a speech in my Public Speaking class. Having a cold while giving a speech is the most uncomfortable feeling because of how the cold can affect your throat and your nose. The speech went fine though.
Also on that day, I had a mid-term in my Nutrition class. I ended up getting a high score on it, which I'm happy about. =)

So, today, I went to the store and I bought these:

And yesterday, I bought these at Raley's:

I can't believe I finally found the Clif Peanut Toffee Buzz and the Luna Blueberry Bliss. I've been looking all over the place for these two flavors. I've especially been looking for the Peanut Toffee Buzz since hearing positive reviews on it.

Anyway, I should probably drink some hot soup or a hot drink to help with my cold. I've lightened up my workouts due to my cold. Instead of running, I've been using the elliptical.

Do you guys have any ideas on how to get over a cold faster?
Do you guys exercise when you are ill?
How was your past weekend?

  1. oh no, you caught the cold bug too?! :( Yes, make sure to rest well and not overdo it at the gym! I do exercise most of the time when I'm sick, but not if I'm really weak and literally can't move. Only when I'm sniffly and functional, but even then it's important to listen to your body and the elliptical does sound like a smart idea. And also, make sure to try ginger honey lemon tea! Just boil ginger root in water with lemon/orange peel, and then add honey to it. Have a great day Helen~

    1. Yes. The cold bug sucks. It's better to have more rest to let the body fight off the virus and recover. and, I definitely have to try the ginger honey lemon tea. Ginger and honey have amazing healing properties. Thanks for the advice. =) You have an amazing day too, Ellie. I had a good one today.
